As Vice President of Strategy and Innovation at Transcarent, Tanya spearheads the strategic thinking and development of solutions to transform the health and care experience using value-based models.  She brings 25 years of experience across the fields of public health, wellness, and product strategy across SCDHEC, Anthem, Cigna, Vitality and Bridgehealth. Tanya combines her health care leadership experience with a passion for health equity, to design solutions that realign the value dynamic across Members, employers, and providers.
Jiban Khuntia, PhD
Associate Professor @University of Colorado Denver Business School
Jiban Khuntia is an associate professor of Information Systems. He directs the Health Administration Research Consortium. His work has appeared in several premier and top journals and has been cited by the media extensively. His recent research on the assessment of health systems and digital health progress in the United States leads to this panel discussion to provide business insights.
Vikas Salgia
Sr. Director of New Market Development @Hinge Health
Mr. Salgia serves as the Sr. Director of New Market Development at Hinge Health. In this role, he partners with industry participants as well as national institutions to establish access to Hinge Health's innovative digital health products for patients suffering from musculo-skeletal conditions. Mr. Salgia has close to two decades of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to Hinge Health he led several payer and provider initiatives at Sutter Health, including those in strategy, business development, deals, and innovative new product development. He has also served as a healthcare focused management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, helping national and international payer and provider systems. At PwC he spearheaded several affordability and strategic initiatives for provider system clients across the country. Mr. Salgia has an MBA from UC Davis, California and a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Rulon Stacey
Program Director for Graduate Programs in Health Administration @University of Colorado Denver, Business School
Dr. Stacey serves as the current Director for Graduate Programs in Health Administration at the CU Denver Business School. Dr. Stacey is a former Chair of the Board of Governors of the American College of Healthcare Executives and twice named by Modern Healthcare as one of the top 100 most influential people in American Healthcare. He brings a future-focused understanding of provider issues, leadership and governance challenges, and strategy alternatives. Dr. Stacey recently completed a third term as the Chair of the Board of Overseers of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and is currently on the Baldrige Foundation Board. He is also Chair of the International Hospital Federation’s CEO Circle and was granted Honorary Membership in IHF in 2017.
